Misha plays a key role at Shift Learning, working on quantitative and qualitative projects across a wide range of sectors and countries, providing support to the team and taking a leading role for some projects. Misha is skilled in various qualitative methods such as depth interviewing, usability tests and online focus groups and is trained in the use of Atlas.ti and Morae analysis software. She is also proficient in quantitative methods and analysis, using Snap and Q software and has achieved the MRS Certificate in Market and Social Research.
Misha has been involved in a number of different projects for various clients which includes Macmillan Education, Cass Business School, Oxford University Press and Rising Stars. Some of the research areas she has worked on includes brand perceptions, website usability testing, new product development and research into the primary schools sector more widely.
Misha is also a maths tutor and teaches supplementary maths lessons to primary aged children with the organisation Civitas Schools. She has a Master’s in Economics from SOAS, University of London and for her dissertation she chose to analyse the impact of India’s education policy on its underprivileged groups. She also has an undergraduate degree in Economics and Geography from Queen Mary, University of London, where she developed valuable qualitative and quantitative research skills. In her final year, she took part in a research project which involved a field trip to Mumbai and conducting interviews with a group of informal workers.
